San Diego celebrated it's continuing influence in the growth of emerging technologies at Interactive Day last Friday. The digital marketing must-attend event had a full day of 5 learning tracks and over 40 speakers to help us marketers navigate the fast-changing digital landscape. Check out our booth and team at Interactive Day. It was a great day for meeting other digital marketers and building out our network in San Diego! Now, for the important stuff! The first keynote of the day, Bryan Kramer, CEO of PureMatter and author of "Human to Human," spoke about the importance of H2H vs. B2B or B2C. There are three pillars of the human to human interaction:
He emphasized the online behavior patterns of certain people, who share online. After Kramer illustrated these 6 online personas, he said that there is power in people and brands that are selective with their online sharing. Perhaps those that are most influential are those that share less and are more selective with the type of content they are attaching to their name (hmm, something to think about). Betsy Scuteri from Business.com, who also attended the event, had some great insight and post event recap to share. To learn more about Pinterest and interesting marketing facts, check out her blog post, "The Humans Who Yearn for Authenticity: Hello Generation Z" Founder & CEO of GreenRope also spoke, take a peek at his presentation. He got the crowd going and hpyed on marketing automation and its place in the customer journey.
